Method
Homemade vegan BBQ sauce is super easy to make and way better than store-bought! This recipe whips up in minutes using just a handful of ingredients. Bonus: it's freezer-friendly, so you can have some on hand at all times!
In a medium saucepan, stir together ketchup, whiskey, Worcestershire Sauce, molasses, tomato paste, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper.

Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a low boil, then lower the heat to a simmer.
Allow the mixture to simmer for about , stirring or whisking occasionally, until it reaches your desired level of thickness.
Remove the pot from heat, taste-test and season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Adjust any other seasonings to your liking.
